Don’t we all wait for that time of the year when we draw out the finest of our closets. The brimming social calendars are full of occasions that demand us to go that extra mile and dress all festive with exuberant Indian wear. While we enjoy all that dressing up, the festive season also comes with a promise of a few long weekends. With several of them popping up this year, a few brunch plans are inevitable with your girls to detox from all the ethnic, traditionally inspired dressing up. If there is one thing we have learnt as the “Sex and the City” generation, it is that brunches are important! Every once in a while, we all need those relaxed Sunday mornings when we dress up at our leisure to meet up with your girls and connect over good food and a few martinis! With this style shoot we decode brunch style for you.
Brunch style is full of freshness. Stylish, comfortable and yet statement are the key points to keep in mind when dressing up for a plan that involves eating and long hours of conversations. Your style story will be noticed and appreciated by fellow brunch-ers so it always pays to make that extra effort. And if that is not convincing, then always remember that the one person you always dress up for is – you, yourself. Looking good always translates into feeling good. It will instantly prepare you to have a fabulous off -day you deserve after all the week’s hard work.
The brunch style at the shoot was dominated by easy dresses, off shoulder necklines, prints in the forms of gingham, stripes and floral, over-sized sleeves pop of bold colours and muted pastels. Pretty and feminine characterises each of these individual looks borne by Vidhi Gupta (Co-Founder & Creative Head, Zariin), Jia Singh (Wellness blogger), Devina Malhotra ( Blogger, Guiltybytes) and Ruchi Phool (Yoga practitioner and healer). An eclectic mix of women with equally unique blend of style statements.
